Ever wondered what it feels like down at 40m? Fancied seeing the bioluminescence only visible at night? Perhaps you love shipwrecks? Maybe you just want to perfect your buoyancy control… whatever element of scuba diving you love or want to improve & explore further, we have the PADI Specialty course for you.
The diving Phuket has to offer makes it a perfect location for a whole range of PADI Specialty courses. For the Wreck Diver course we have the King Cruiser shipwreck, among others. If it’s an Underwater Navigator certification you’re after then the shallow, sandy bays of the Racha Islands provide the ideal training ground. Phi Phi Islands are diverse and provide opportunity for all specialties.
Scuba Diving Phuket – what’s your Specialty?
PADI Specialty courses help divers broaden their knowledge, add to their skill-set and improve confidence. Consequently, scuba diving Phuket, and all over the world, you will find new opportunities available to you, in the form of new dive sites that weren’t on offer before! For example, take the PADI Wreck Diver course and you’ll be able to dive upon that submerged shipwreck with vastly more confidence, skill and safety. Combine it with the PADI Deep Specialty course to extend your underwater range to 40m, the maximum for recreational divers. Add to that the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course and you will extend your potential bottom time, giving you more value for your dive, every time!
When you have earnt 5 different PADI Specialities you can then apply for your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest non-professional rank available! PADI Specialty Courses Information
Super Divers Phuket PADI Specialty courses are comprised of one or more 3 dive scuba diving Phuket day trips. Pick-ups start from 07:15am and guests return between 06:00pm & 07:00pm. Complimentary breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
To qualify for PADI Specialty courses all divers must be at least PADI Open Water divers, and in some cases PADI Advanced Open Water divers, both of which courses can be done here at Super Divers Phuket.
PADI Specialty courses are an awesome way to expand your diving knowledge, increase your underwater confidence and ultimately help you get more out of each and every dive you do, wherever you do it.
Once you have earned 5 different PADI Specialties, and you already hold PADI Rescue Diver with 50 logged dives, you can apply for your PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest rank on the non-professional ladder!
Snorkelers and non-divers are welcome to join divers on the boat trips, the charge is 2,500 THB per person.

Prices Include
- One or two day trips depending on the specialty, with three dives each day.
- Full scuba diving insurance.
- PADI certification fees and manuals.
- Full rental equipment for the course (BCD, Regulator, fins, mask, wetsuit & computer)
- Complimentary round trip transfers from Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata & parts of Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong.
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments on the boat.
No surcharge for credit or debit card payments. - A friendly team with patient, adaptable & experienced Instructors.
- Excellent customer service & a perfect 100% safety record.
Price Excludes
- Boat transfers from areas outside the complimentary pick-up areas. (We can though arrange private transfers at cost price).
- Underwater photos and videos are offered by our dive staff on the boat as an optional extra, usually for 1,000 THB per person, per day. Please take along cash on the day for this, if you think you would like them as it is a service provided directly by the instructors themselves.
- If guests are diving at Phi Phi they must pay 600 Thai Baht in cash on the boat for Phi Phi National Marine Park fees.
