About the PADI Rescue Course in Phuket

Students taking the PADI Rescue Diver Course in Phuket with Super Divers will take two or three days to complete the course. A prerequisite for this course is to have a current recognized first aid certificate. For guests who already possess a first aid certificate the rescue course will take two days. On the other hand, guests who don’t have one will take the course over three days and will complete the PADI Emergency First Responder Course too, which is a recognized first aid certification covering general and scuba diving first aid procedures.

Rescue diver students taking the PADI EFR course with the PADI Rescue Diver course will receive two PADI certifications. The additional cost for the PADI EFR course is only 4,900 THB, including the certification fees. The first day of the three day PADI EFR and Rescue course would be dedicated to earning the PADI first aid certification. Day two would be spent practicing rescue diver skills and techniques in the pool. Finally, the third day would be spend taking three dives from the boat utilizing newly learnt rescue diver skills and knowledge in simulated scenarios, whilst also enjoying the spectacular scuba diving Phuket has to offer.

Additionally, we believe smaller class sizes improve safety while diving primarily because the instructors attention is focused on fewer students, which allows them to spot and prevent any potential problems both early and calmly, before continuing with the dive as normal.

Price Includes

• Dive insurance throughout the course.

Price Excludes

• Boat transfers from areas outside the complimentary pick-up areas. (We can though arrange private transfers at cost price).
• Transfers to Super Divers dive center in Patong Beach. We can arrange transfers at a small cost on request.
• If diving at Phi Phi on the final course day, Phi Phi National Marine Park fees which are 600 THB per diver are sometimes collected by the park police on the dive boat. Guests need to pay these in cash directly to the police on the boat please.
• Underwater photos and video are from dive staff on the boat as an optional extra, usually for 1,000 THB. Please note, this is not a Super Divers service, but a service provided from the dive staff on the boat as a way to make a little extra beer money.
