Deep Andaman Queen Thailand & Myanmar Liveaboard
Describing Deep Andaman Queen as having been refurbished ready for the 2019 Similans could make people think she’s had a clean-up, some fresh paint and new curtains. In actual fact, the Deep Andaman Queen has undergone what could be described as a complete rebuild. She looks absolutely amazing, with improvements throughout the boat complimented by the sweet scent of newness. Guests looking for the biggest, nicest, newest and most comfortable Similans liveaboard and Burma dive trips, should look no further than Deep Andaman Queen.
Furthermore, the three different trip itineraries offered from Deep Andaman Queen include spectacular scuba diving spots in Myanmar, the Similan Islands and the surrounding Surin Island dive sites. Guests embarking on the seven night Myanmar trips will also dive at Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, as will guests taking the four night Similan Islands trip. On the four-night Myanmar liveaboard schedule all dives will be in Myanmar waters, visiting remote and pristine dive sites.
Ultimately, this is our top liveaboard choice for the current season as she looks and feels like a brand-new boat delivered straight from the ship yard. Also, the choice of comfortable and well-designed cabins is another major draw for Deep Andaman Queen. Finally, return transfers from Phuket or Khao Lak are included and start in the afternoons on departure days.
Deep Andaman Queen Thailand Liveaboard
Pick-ups from Phuket run from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on departure day for both the Similan trips and seven night Myanmar trips. Guests taking the four night Myanmar trips will need to be in Khao Lak the evening before departure for an early morning land transfer to Deep Andaman Queen after passing through immigration in Ranong.Â
Four Night Similans Trips: Guests will have fourteen dives in the Similans Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the famous Richelieu Rock. Seven Night Myanmar Trips: Expect to take between 20 to 22 dives in total. The first two days and the final day will include diving arounf Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. During days three to six all scuba diving will be at some superb Myanmar scuba diving sites. Four Nigh Myanmar trips: Sixteen dives in Myanmar. Amazing!
Scuba Diving Insurance: We highly recommend guests have their own scuba diving insurance. We recommend Divers Alert Network (D.A.N.), a non-profit scuba diving organization which offers various levels of scuba diving insurance for both recreational divers as well as professional divers.
Prices Include: Return transfers from Phuket or Khao Lak to the boat, all meals, snacks, drinking water, dive guides, tanks & weights.
Prices Exclude: Similan National Marine Park fees and / or Myanmar visa fees. Equipment rental if required is 500 Thai Baht per day for a full set. Other possible extra costs include soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, and enriched air nitrox if required by guests.
