Designed especially for people who want to try diving in Phuket for just one day. Included, are three superb dives at the same Phuket scuba diving sites visited by experienced divers. Also, we prioritize safety. In fact, since we opened in 2010 we’ve taken upwards of 8,000 guests on PADI Discover Scuba Diving Phuket day trips and we’re possibly the only long standing Phuket dive shop which has a 100% accident free safety record.
Ultimately, this is because we don’t cut corners, and because we insist on employing the very best PADI instructors. Our dive instructors are all experienced, friendly and patient. Additionally, due to their valuable experience, our PADI instructors will usually spot and prevent possible accidents before they happen.
An Introduction to Diving in Phuket Everyone Can Enjoy
Experience the thrill of taking a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Phuket day trip in the beautiful Andaman sea. This course is for complete beginners who would like to try scuba diving and also learn the basics about the equipment. Be amazed at the incredible underwater world! You will have a dedicated Super Divers PADI Instructor to guide you through the dives and ensure your safety at all times.
Phuket PADI Discover Scuba Diving day trips are available at Racha Noi & Yai where the visibility is good. Also, the conditions are ideal for both first time divers as well as experienced divers. You will enjoy colourful coral reefs teeming with marine life with a possibility of seeing some amazing marine life. These locations can offer some of the best visibility. In fact, even during the rainy season, visibility can sometimes exceed 40 metres, so it’s no surprise that they offer some of the best scuba diving in Thailand!

Please note that PADI Discover Scuba Diving day trips are available at Racha Noi & Yai only, as Thai law prohibits the first time scuba divers from scuba diving at Phi Phi dive sites.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Information
Phuket scuba diving trip with three dives. Available everyday throughout the year. Hotel pick-ups start from 7.00 am. Guests return to hotels at around 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Complimentary breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
No previous diving experience or any swimming ability required. Participants just need to be in reasonably good health and sign the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Medical Statement. (See below). Participants receive a detailed dive briefing and will then have three dives under the close supervision of an experienced PADI instructor resulting in a safe and enjoyable Phuket diving experience. Maximum depth will be 12 meters and each dive will last up to 50 minutes.
Great for singles, groups, couples and families. (Minimum age is 10 years old). Underwater photos of the dives are usually offered by the dive staff on the boat. This service is an optional extra provided by the dive staff, who usually charge 1,000 THB for the service.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving does not certify participants as scuba divers. However, upon successful completion of the day, we’ll register you with PADI. If guests later choose to take their PADI Open Water Course within the following 12 months, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Course which can then be completed in just two more days. The price to do this would be the price of the PADI Open Water Course minus the price paid for the PADI Discover Scuba Diving day trip. The PADI Open Water Course gives divers a lifetime lasting scuba diving certification.
Non-divers / snorkelers are welcome to join their scuba diving partners or friends on the boat for the day. We charge 2,500 THB for non-divers or snorkelers.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Medical Statement
Participants will need to read and sign the PADI Medical Statement when they start their course with us in Phuket. You can view or download the statement here.

Price Excludes
- Boat transfers from areas outside the complimentary pick-up areas. (We can though arrange private transfers at cost price).
- Underwater photos and video are from dive staff on the boat as an optional extra, usually for 1,000 THB. Please note, this is not a Super Divers service, but a service provided from the dive staff on the boat as a way to make a little extra beer money.
