Day Trip Cancellation Conditions
Cancellations received by us before 5:00 pm, the day before a day trip commences, are eligible for a full refund, minus any bank charges, credit card charges and any exchange rate losses if any incurred.
We always use the current exchange rate at the time of guests inquiries and bookings. We will not try to swindle our guests by manipulating foreign exchange rates. If we quote a price in a foreign currency during an initial inquiry, the exchange rate may have changed at a later date when the booking is confirmed and payment requested. We use the exchange rate provided by Paypal at the time of transactions to calculate exchange rates.
In the unlikely event that a dive trip is cancelled due to bad weather, or rough and dangerous sea conditions, guests are entitled to a full refund, minus any credit card charges we incur, which are around 5%. Curtailed trips entitle guests to a partial refund, proportionate to how much of their trip was cut short. Itineraries of all liveaboard trips can be altered at the crews discretion due to weather or conditions.
In the unlikely event a liveaboard cruise is cancelled by an operator, due to insufficient passengers, we will advise customers as soon as we become aware of the situation, and rebook customers on a similar cruise of at least the same standard, or better. If the price of the alternate cruise is lower, any difference in price will be returned to the customer. However, at scubadivingphuket.net we only use operators who almost never cancel cruises because of this problem.

We recommend that if you intend to go scuba diving, you make sure you have an insurance policy that covers this activity. There are several insurance companies to choose from. We recommend Divers Alert Network (DAN) a non-profit group run by scuba divers, for scuba divers. They are tried and tested, and very reasonably priced with individual membership costing as little as $29 per year.
Please check you have the required travel documents before booking your dive trip. Make sure your passport has at least 6 months to run from your time of entry into Thailand.
