The MV Pawara is one of the largest Similan Islands Liveaboards taking scuba divers to the best dive sites Thailand has to offer. The name “Pawara” is an old Thai Sansakrit word, which means “Treasures of the Corals”. This is a modern Thai style liveaboard that was launched in 2006 after being custom designed and built in Phuket. She is extremely spacious boat and has great facilities. MV Pawara has ten twin berth cabins which all enjoy individual air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. She has a huge lounge and an air-con dining room, where five meals a day are served! The lounge is a great place to relax after diving and is well stocked with board games, as well as DVDs that can be watched on the entertainments system

Although the dining room can accommodate up to 22 people, guests can always choose to eat on the upper deck in the comfortable seating area, by the bar, or sitting in the sun. The food is a mixture of Thai and western cuisine and the kitchen is kept spotless and hygienic by the quality chef. The sundeck is almost big enough for a game of football and mattresses are provided here for guests to relax on and soak up some sun. The dive deck is large and uncluttered and there are plenty of hooks and hangers for equipment. There are also showers on the dive deck to rinse off the salt water.

The Captain’s Bridge is equipped with state of the art navigation, communication and safety equipment. There are Kayaks onboard for guests use, as well as beach kites and more.
